Loud return – Peter Yan is back to the Muay Thai to fight with Aljamain Sterling

For some sport fans Muay Thai seems to be an unknown and not so interesting discipline to follow – but that’s the biggest fallacy to have.
Not so late the Muay Thai field was shocked with the news – former star Peter Yan is coming back to meet with his rival,
Aljamain Sterling, once again. Nobody could even expect this, says mlb.com.
Some time ago Peter Yan returned to training at Tiger Muay Thai Gym in Phuket, Thailand, ahead of his title rematch against Aljamain Sterling.
Let’s remember that Yan became the first UFC champion to lose the belt by disqualification at UFC 259 against Sterling. The result came after the Russian knocked out his opponent lying on the ground in the fourth round.
Peter has 16 victories against 2 losses in his professional mixed martial arts career, while Sterling’s result is 20 against 3 and has a six-fight winning streak.
Peter Yan is currently in 11th place in the UFC men’s ranking, while Aljamain Sterling is not on this list.
Peter is the only lightweight star in the UFC men’s ranking. This is despite the fact that he is not the best champion in the weight category of 135 kilograms.
His second red stone was added to the belt after defeating Sandhagen at Fight Island earlier this year.
So what will we see? Marvelous fighting, of course. May the best win!
